Formerly Eaton Place, this downtown business service centre offers 70 shops and services, including many independent retailers. Connects via skywalk to MTS Centre. Mon-Fri 10am-7 pm, Sat 10 am-6 pm, Sun noon-5 pm.

Located at the corner of Portage and Vaughan, Portage Place spans three downtown blocks. Inside are approximately 160 shops, including Holt Renfrew/Holt Renfrew Last Call, services and restaurants on two levels, as well as the IMAX theatre and Prairie Theatre Exchange. Mon-Wed & Sat 10 am-6 pm, Thu-Fri 10 am-9 pm, Sun noon-5 pm.

Winnipeg's oldest and largest shopping mall features over 180 shops, services and restaurants. One of the city's premiere shopping destinations, offering a variety of upscale and specialty shops. The stores along this trendy strip of "LIttle Italy" offer fashion, cutting edge home decor, plants, flowers and giftware.

This tree-lined neighbourhood street is home to a selection of upscale stores. Gourmet food, children's toys and clothing, home fashions, women's wear and unique jewellery are found.

Canada's most famous corner, Portage and Main, is a hub of traffic in the city, but below ground is a maze of walkways which offer a host of upscale shops and services. From here to The Bay is the city's main downtown shopping district. Located beneath Lombard St is Lombard Concourse, offering whimsical gift ideas and fine quality goods from many locally-owned stores. Right below the famed corner are The Shops of Winnipeg Square, offering more than 50 stores and services and linked to The Fairmont Hotel, Richardson Building, TD Centre and Bank of Montreal.

Just south of downtown, this is the most densely populated area of the city and one of Winnipeg's best walking districts with many shops, bars and restaurants within a four block radius. Carrying everything from antiques and books to luggage and home furnishings, area stores offer a unique shopping experience as all are housed in turn-of-the-century buildings. A National Historic Site, the area is best seen on foot. East and west of Main St between Portage and Market.
