At the heart of Winnipeg's cultural scene, the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is in its 60th concert season. The 67-member band performs at the Centennial Concert Hall under the direction of Alexander Mickelthwate. The International New Music Festival has gained the orchestra critical acclaim for their celebration of new classical music.
